The persistency of Zimbabwe’s financial crisis has continued to make it difficult for companies and individuals to, not only, move money across the border but also make online payments.
While banks continue to restrict international transfers and the use of debit/credit cards, many are now turning towards bitcoin as a solution but the problem, however, is that most people still don’t understand how bitcoin works or how to use the technology. This is why we’re hosting the Blockchain Summer School.
BitFinance is partnering with Blockchain Academy to host the first edition of the Blockchain Summer School from 22 to 25 November 2016. The event will take place at B2C Co-working space which is in the CBD of Harare, Zimbabwe.
The Blockchain Summer School is designed to equip the participants with skills and ideas on how they can use bitcoin and the Blockchain (the technology behind bitcoin) to address key challenges and opportunities in the financial services space.
